garments I’ve Made In The Past
With an innate passion and talent for fashion construction throughout high school, I designed and hand-made almost every dress for special occasions and events. These are some of my favorites...
Senior homecoming
A crown worthy dress made from a silky polyester blend with added tulle for volume.
Senior dinner dance
Another award winning night, a four-way stretch glittery spandex blend made this dress timeless.
senior prom
After two tries and some construction lessons learned, this gown will always stand out. A soft crepe mix lined with sheer polyester was panelled throughout, ending with a long train.
junior - senior dinner dance
One of my all time favorites, a faux suede mini dress with flattering darts for days.
junior prom
One of my simpler designs using the softest 4-way spandex and nylon blend fabric featuring my favorite detail of deep, low backs. The straps were elastic keeping the front neckline high and flat.
draping ii - corset
A faux leather quilted corset: a thin piece of batting lies between two panels of leather lined with heavy-duty interfacing. The front used spiral steel boning for curved shaping while the back laced up gramets with silk ribbon.
Pattern Making
Experience in both half scale and full-size pattern making I’ve developed an archive of a bodice, jacket, blouse slopers and more.
